Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

Been a while since I posted a report, sorry for that. Spent most of November in the Keys fishing. The fishing was awesome only taking a few days and a tip here and there to figure it out. Caught a lot of hogfish(hogfish), black snaps, cero macks, jacks and many other species. Can't wait to get back hopefully this time with a better fishing partner.
As for around here....I have had the busiest winter ever, obviously god is looking after me. When we manage to get in a fishing trip between duck hunts the trout bite is strong, both in the hot water discharge canal and the bayous. We caught well over twenty decent fish on the fly yesterday at Warren Bayou and some good keeper fish in another spot earlier in the week. There are a lot of fish around the bridges and offshore spots.
There have been some fish hanging around the pass. Had a young couple Christmas Eve who enjoyed catching 10lb. bonito on light tackle.
As always a competent guide can put you on fish any time of the year.
The weather hasn't been the best for ducks this year. We are taking bluebills and redheads along with some puddlers but the big flocks have not made it down. Maybe with some cold weather we can get some good birds here before the end of season.
Once again, sorry for not reporting more but really I have had more business than I want. February is wide open and the trout are not closed this year so that will be a good time to catch a big one.
Panama City Fishing Forecast:

Winter pattern trout and reds, fishing around the bridges and inshore spots for triggerfish and flounder.
