Normal summer weather pattern starts to bring good catches.

Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

Headed up to West Bay early this morning hoping to catch a few trout on DOA and Zara Spooks. The bite was a little slow but we managed to catch a few good fish. The tide was very low and moving. The tides will reset tonight with the high tide coming with the sunrise each day for the next week or so. This makes for good redfish fishing.
We moved out into the big bay where we have been getting good numbers of big spanish. We had a number of species to include flounder, blues and big sharks that we couldn't turn. The spanish bite was good. We had a box full of good fish. I think you can look forward to good catches of spanish as long as the weather stays light. The heavy west winds that have blown most of the summer have calmed allowing the normal migration of the species to take place.

Although I will not run on Saturday the rest of the summer I am available for friday night redfish, black snapper and shark trips.

Panama City Fishing Forecast:

Fishing is good and getting better with each day. Days are getting shorter which means the bite will gradually tune up the rest of the summer and into the fall.

Target Species:

Everything is here with new fish arriving daily.

More Fishing Reports:

Sight casting fly and spinning for reds, trout, bonita, spanish, jacks and many other species. Live bait trips available as well as hot topwater action in the bay around Panama City, Florida. Depending on the time of the year I can normally put you on legal grouper in the bay, monster speckled trout, lot's of fly fishing action and just about everything else that swims and good tablefare.
