running only a few miles from the pass. it took me longer to buy bait dew to the large number of boats going out this morning. And when you get to your spot the one you have been waiting to fish all year there is two or three others boats all ready fishing it. But every one was very nice and polite and invited us in. its good to be polite it might be you driving up to fish next time and it would be nice to be invited to fish rather than chased away with anger. I hope you all had as good a day as i did you see i have been moving this week so i have not been taking trips out so i have not been on the water for several days o man what a long several days it has been. i woke up early this morning i was going to get finished moving but i had to go fishing i cant miss the opener i said Im a captain what will my customers think if i don't go fishing on the opener. So i called my brother and said be there soon get ready he was more than happy to go. So we loaded up and headed for the dock. fist stop we both got our two snapper each and moved on. We then started chasing amber jack but found only bonita at almost every stop i even had a very large Baracuda eat one of them right at the boat it was Awsome we still managed to get a keeper Aj on the flat line the smallest pole gets the biggest fish isn't that all ways the way. We didn't see any Mahi Mahi today but lots of birds diving and a good weed line at 12 miles. Anyway snapper season was a long in coming and i for one am glad its here helps to put a few more fish in the box. P.S. the move is almost over book a trip now!!! with my no catch no pay you cant miss!!!!!! tight lines and bent poles everyone!! some pics from last trip with zeke and father curtis. Sorry for the late post on the pics
