Panama City Beach Cobia Fishing

Capt. Jason Giles
April 30, 2013
Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

Well the Cobia have statred to slow down. As usual I have been playing more than working. Late April is my favorite time to go cobia fishing. I wish more clients would get on my schedule. This past week has been some of the best cobia fishing I've seen in a 2 years. This picture was from a fun trip were we went 1-10 losing many on the hook set.

This picture were caught 5 and this on was legal.

This picture we caught 7 but only had 3 anglers so we released the others.

Tarpon on my radar now!

Panama City Fishing Forecast:

Cobia have slowed but I'm sure many more will be caught. Pompano are in full force. Spanish, trout and reds should be steady for months to come. I'll start to target tarpon at the end of may.
