Panama City Beach Fishing

Capt. Jason Giles
June 8, 2011
Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

Today I had Todd Mardis and crew. I told them it was going to be rough if we went offshore for snapper and he said the kids could handle it. He was not joking. We made bait and pounded our way out. I could hear the kids laughing as we took spray off the side. I tested them on some Aj's and they did just fine. Huffing and puffing as they helped one another fight fish. I rounded up on the snappers and they went to work. We got our limit fast and came in for some spanish fishing. The kidos were just as pumped on the spanish as the snappers.

I didn't run my afternoon Tarpon trip today, the wind was just too strong and the surf on the beach was quick and sloppy.

Panama City Fishing Forecast:

Offshore snapper bite is easy, Aj's out of season but eating everything, Spanish, trout, and a few reds doing good on falling tides.

Target Species:

Everything
