We started out this am with no real plan.

Ended up chumming some AJ's up for the fly rod action.

Later we went to a snapper spot. Most of our trip was catch and release. Ha, I actually kept a few for me and my wife tonight. My clients were the too cool. Hey Capt., see if you can jack him on FLY! Another well know guide anchored up next to me. The bite had slowed down but this cobia kept popping up in my chum. After 5 casts with the fly rod, I get him on and right in front of the other guide...Ooooh and then I embarrass myself... I horned him off. Oh well! It was a mostly catch and release trip anyway. For the afternoon trip we had a nice bunch of snappers with a few scamp in the mix.

Panama City Fishing Forecast:

Snappers inshore and Off with mixed reef species. Sharks to the west.
