Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

Freckled Trout are doing it to it! Tried to fish the beach today after catching bait but the water was to cloudy to do what I like to do. We went back inside. The Freckled Trout were thick as Lady fish. We caught a one man limit in the first 20 mins. of fishing. Freckled trout is the story of the day. We tried to catch flounder and caught trout. We sight fished reds with live bait and caught trout, I ran 4 miles to west bay to get away from trout, got in a foot of water, pitched at a school of mullet near a feeder creek, and caught trout. We released a lot of trout today most of them bigger than the ones in the photos. Till the beach cleans up I guess I'm trout fishing!!!

Panama City Fishing Forecast:

Trout are thick. Beach to the east is milky I can't sight fish for Pompano, Jacks, Sharks, Reds. Spanish still good, Kings off the beach as well. Tarpon are around the corner. Remeber when I said that about the Cobia! I have seen plenty of them while cobia fishing this year. Two weeks from now I will target them for sure!!!
Target Species:

Trout!!!
