Panama City Beach Late Spring Early Summer Report

Capt. Todd Jones
May 20, 2019
Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

The weather is perfect. Water Temps are exactly where they should be and the bait is following suit.

Our last few trips have produced limits of Mahi for the dinner table and lots of big Reef Donkeys for sport. It is hard to beat catching Amberjacks on Topwater. These Williamson Popper Pros make them loose their minds.

The King Mackerel fishing is also picking up and should remain consistent all the way thru the Fall. It is shaping up to be a fantastic season.

More Fishing Reports:

Capt. Todd has been fishing the Gulf Coast for over 40 years and guiding for 30 years. He is a second generation fishing guide. While serving his country for 22 years as a Navy Diver he was able to fish all over the world. In his travels he has fished the Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian Oceans, as well as the Mediterranean and the Sea of Cortez. But in his opinion nothing compares to the diversity we have here in the Emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico.
