Panama City Beach Light Tackle.

Capt. Jason Giles
April 4, 2010
Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

Sheepshead still on fire in St. Adrews Pass. If we got a bite and missed a sheepshead, I told my clients to reel in fast to make the Spanish hit half shrimp moveing fast. One bait two chances...funny stuff! Nothing technical at all. Most Spanish this time of the year are barely legal and I won't waste time on them when Cobia are all over the beaches. Many cobia caught today. My group today wanted action so we stayed on the rocks all afternoon. I just turned my phone off so I wouldn't hear about all the cobia.

Panama City Fishing Forecast:

Weather pattern remains the same, Cobia should be flooding the beaches!!! Regular fishing in St. Andrews Pass, Sheepshead and Spanish. Most Spanish are tiny to legal, no ax handles! Fun on ultra, ultra light to light fly rod. Easy novice fishing.

Target Species:

Panama City beach Light Tackle
