Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

Been a while since my last post...I have my new boat and it is a fine one!!! The tower goes on next week. I'll post the pictures of it then! I have run a few inshore trips, mostly trout and reds.

Trout are thick in Warren Bayou, Red fish are doing their thing if you have enough water to get to them. I have 3 good schools of fish that are Not spookey cause they are not in West Bay! I just powerpole down and wait for them to get in casting range. Been catching 5 or 6 out of the schools each time till they get wise. These schools are great for first time sight fishermen and seasoned guys. Yes they are biggons, not slot fish!!! Too deep of water for a fly but sight fishing is fun. JUST FORCE FEEDEM!

I don't know how long they will stay and I have only fished them 3 times now...same spots, same sandholes, and same bull minows or bucktails(Thanks Peach for the bucktail jigs!).
Panama City Fishing Forecast:

Cold North winds are keeping the tides super low, find deeper holes for the trout, schools of reds are easy to find in all bays...You just need a shollow water boat. Few flounder still on shallow wrecks off the beach.
Target Species:

Trout and Reds
