Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report
I love fall fishing! The weather is perfect and the fishing is great. I have stayed in the bay for my last four trips and the catching has been incredible! On the morning trips we have been top water fishing for Reds and Trout. The bite has been great in the early morning fishing as close to the bank as you can get. As the day progresses we start fishing a little deeper using suspended twitch baits.
In the afternoon I have been netting several hundred pilchards and chumming in the big bay. On these trips we are catching everything…Big Bull Reds, Giant Spanish, Flounder, Trout, Bluefish, Ladyfish, Grouper, and we even had several Cobia the other afternoon. In fact we had so many fish last Friday I had to catch a few hundred more pilchards 2 hours into the trip.
The weather is great and the fishing is even better so let's go gett'em.
