Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

This week 8 local guides had the honor of being part of Project Healing Waters. This is part of a progam to help our wounded Veterans. We took men and women veterans out for 2 days of flyfishing.
The fist day we got a late start due to the logistics of everything so we opted to chase redfish in the bay. We saw plenty of reds and caught a nice one along with trout and ladyfish.

On day two we headed out to the Gulf and were rewarded with a bounty of fish on the fly! As you can see from the pictures we were able to land several species on the fly. The fish were biting non stop for 4 hours! Mike boated Spanish Mackrel, Dolfin, Amberjack, Bonito, Bluerunner, and Ladyfsih on his flyrod. What a great trip .

Good luck on the water,
