Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

Fishing around the bay this week has been pretty good. Still catching a lot of reds and trout. We had a four pound trout next to the boat this morning and lost another good fish a little later. As I have said in the past, I don't catch my clients fish for them. I will coach them while the fish is on but refuse to take a rod out of thier hands just to land a fish. Fish are yours to catch....and lose. Scotty, new to bay fishing, caught a N. Florida slam which is a good thing.

When not chasing reds and trout there are plenty of bluefish and spanish to catch. Live baiting, fly or artificial....mix in a couple of ladyfish, it's good time.

I know everyone is upset about the oil....it should not have much, if any, effect on bay fishing. Your going to mad when I keep putting up pictures of good fish other people are catching 'cause you think the oil is here. Get down here, support our economy and catch some fish.
Panama City Fishing Forecast:

Fishing is excellent. Trout and reds are all over the bay.
Spanish and blues are easy to catch.
