Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

The weather over the last couple weeks has been a little crazy to say the least. The water in the bays and near shore is still a little tanic. Furtunately that has not turned the fish off. Up in the bay and on the flats the topwater is still working pretty good. The reds and trout are really homing in on the sound and movement of the topwater plugs in this stained water. Just remember to keep moving that plug even if you get a couple misses. They need that sound and movement to target the lure.
On the big water Capt. Todd is still knocking them dead with live bait. Spanish, Kings, Snapper and Grouper are some of the usual catches. Here are some pictures from the last couple weeks.

The fishing should stay pretty good over the next couple weeks. With the cooler weather moving in and hopefully a break in the rain...the water should clear up.

As always good luck on the water and in the woods.
