Panama City Florida Top Water Fishing 8-21-12

Capt. Rob Womble
August 21, 2012
Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

Well....there isnt much more to say other than the redfish and trout are eating topwater baits early in the morning. If there is a light chop on the water I suggest you use a Top Dog. If the water is calm with little to no wind we have been using a spook jr. The water is still a bit too stained for the usual soft plastic baits and suspending mirror lures. Spoons and sented plastic baits can still work if you get a chance to site cast. here are some pics from tis week.

Had to get this red after it took the rod out of the anglers hands.

When it gets hot....join the baitfish in the livewell!
