Panama City Florida trout bite awesome.

Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

Stayed in the bay a lot more the last couple of weeks. Trout bite has been awesome and getting better. One of my favorite Spanish/shark/big fish spots has been on fire the last week also. We have been catching a lot of reds, most of them small but reds none the less.
Offshore the king bite is still strong. Big fish everywhere. If you want to catch an endangered red snapper there are plenty of those in the 15lb. plus range for fun. Of course you have to throw them back. I expect the offshore bite to really pick up to include grouper and various snapper species such as lanes and blacks.
Catching everything on live bait which is plentiful and easy to get.

Panama City Fishing Forecast:

I expect the bay fishing for trout to continue to improve over the next 60 days.
Offshore, the big kings come around this time of year along with sailfish and others.
Grouper should be moving onto the inshore wrecks.

Target Species:

everything is biting

More Fishing Reports:

Sight casting fly and spinning for reds, trout, bonita, spanish, jacks and many other species. Live bait trips available as well as hot topwater action in the bay around Panama City, Florida. Depending on the time of the year I can normally put you on legal grouper in the bay, monster speckled trout, lot's of fly fishing action and just about everything else that swims and good tablefare.
