Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

Spent most of the day Saturday scouring the beach for cobia. A few have been trickling through and being caught. One over 60lbs. last week and a few good fish over the weekend. We spent most of the day looking but didn't see a fish. We have some southeast winds predicted this week which will change everything for the better.
After hunting for cobia Saturday we took a little time to take advantage of the spanish that have made an appearance over the last few days. The full run is a couple of days away but some are here and we have been catching them.
As for the pass....still hot. Caught some monster sheeps today. Take a look:

End of the day:

We kept 13 of the bigger fish throwing back enough to make our limits.
After the pass we looked for cobia but none to be found. The wind has a southeasterly fetch and the cobia should arrive in full force by the weekend.
We caught a bunch of good sized blues up in the bay and have been getting a few trout. Fishing is getting better each day.
Panama City Fishing Forecast:

We should start seeing and catching numbers of cobia by the first of next week.
Sheeps and reds will continue to bite in the pass.
Trout and smaller reds are moving onto the flats.
Spanish and blues are here for those that just want to catch a bunch of fish.
Target Species:

Cobia, sheeps and reds in the pass...spanish and trout.
