Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

Today was "4lb. Ray's" day to go fishing this week. We decided to fish artificials in an area that doesn't get much pressure.
Ever wake up and have one of those days that is so good you have to look at the botton of your shoe to see if you stepped in a pile of crap left by a golden goose? That was what today was like.
Although it started off a little slow, through trial and error, we located the fish. We located them so well that on some casts if your bait got by a good spec, a flounder was there to pick up the slack. In between all that action Ray picked up a small red completing his first North Florida Slam.
I'm not going to brag about the amount of fish we caught, let's just say we had a box full of flatties and trout. It was good.

Panama City Fishing Forecast:

Flounder fishing is picking up if you know where to get them. Each day has been better. The peak should be ten days to two weeks away.
Everything else is biting; trout, reds, blues, spanish, kings offshore. Pick your poison.
Target Species:

Fall fishing is at it's best. Time to come down and get whateveer you want.
