Redfish bite is on...getting better with each day.

Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

When it comes to catching reds you have several choices. You can sit home and watch it on the telly....you can dream about being on the redfish tour or you can get on the boat with me and see what it's all about! Everyone wants to catch reds. The are fun, but not that hard to catch. You just have to know where to find them every day of the year. We beat them this week like a red headed...well red fish.
It's all good. This fall will be hot for reds on light line or for the fly fishermen. My "ghetto tower" is doing the job along with my Motorguide remote operated electric motor...oh yeah and shout out to all the great companies that help me with quality equipment like: Hobie Polarized Glasses, the folks that make Zara Spooks and Booyah Spinnerbaits, DOA...just to name a few.
I'm going to have a year end review of all the products I used this summer coming up.
We had a good day on the reds this morning. The spanish bite later was a little slow.
Thanks to Dale, Joe and Joey for a great time and for landing all of those great fish.

I'll be fly fishing trout streams in N. Georgia this weekend so if you want to book something for the future call my cell.

Panama City Fishing Forecast:

Redfish are on fire and I'm the fireman. Trout is picking up.
Most days the spanish bite is good along with blues and sharks. Going to target black tips starting next week.
Offshore the king bite is good.

Target Species:

all of the above

More Fishing Reports:

Sight casting fly and spinning for reds, trout, bonita, spanish, jacks and many other species. Live bait trips available as well as hot topwater action in the bay around Panama City, Florida. Depending on the time of the year I can normally put you on legal grouper in the bay, monster speckled trout, lot's of fly fishing action and just about everything else that swims and good tablefare.
