Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

The number two ninja wanted to get in on some of the action the full moon has brought so we headed to West Bay yesterday. The wind had changed to a cool brisk NE changing conditions and keeping the bait down. We managed to get some big LY's after a porlonged search then heading to the hot spots.
We made a short stop at one place boated a couple of small trout and reds. No bruisers of either. Ended up at one of the places we have been doing well where Ray picked up this 29" red.

We missed a couple more that were short striking and then headed to a hot trout hole. We caught a couple of keepers but nothing like last week. The big fish that spawned are now scattered on the flats. The fish that didn't spawn will congregate again with the next full moon. The trout count for five days of fish last week was unbelievable. 23 fish over 20 inches, nine of which were over 24 and 4 over 25. These fish weighed anywhere from 3.5 on the small side to the fat fish weighing in over 6lbs. Check out the photo's from the previous reports. That is exactly why you hire me when you want to catch big trout. Nobody else can do it like I do.
Panama City Fishing Forecast:

With the setting of the full moon I will do a little red and trout fishing, more if the clients like. Great thing about my six hour trips, which cost $375, we can trout and redfish fish for the first three hours and spend the rest of the trip chasing spanish, sharks and other fish that have now taken up residence in the bay for the summer.
Target Species:

Anything that swims
