Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

Panama City/NW Florida
Won't be long and the fishing will heat up for another season.
We can expect the spanish to show up some time in the next 30-45 days. Then the cobia, pompano, blues, ladies and all the other migratory fish. Everything depends on the water temp. You can be the day the spanish show, I'll put and updated report on this site.
Best be at this time is bayous, creeks and deep holes. Warren Bayou is still hot for a good bite and catching fish. IT IS CATCH AND RELEASE FOR ALL FISH AND YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO CATCH BAIT INSIDE THE BAYOU. All winter I have watched people break the rules in there. I can't stress enough that if you see someone cheating call the Marine Patrol. Those are the fish we will catch all summer. There is a reason that Warren Bayou is catch and release only and that is because the fish are so easy to catch in the winter. Go have some fun, catch some fish....handle them with care and release them to be caught another day.
Sheepshead fishing in the pass is starting to happen which is another fun bite. Also we have been catching a lot of whiting, black sea bass and silver trout all winter. Ultra light for these species is a kick in the butt.
This is my 12th year guiding and can put you on fish every single day not matter what the conditions. Give me a call for a great day on the water.
