Florida Fishing Report for Panama City & Destin

Capt. James Pic
October 22, 2007
Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

PANAMA CITY/NW FLORIDA

SPECIAL PRICE THRU MARCH 15TH 2008: BOOK A HALF DAY AND GET THE NEXT HALF DAY AT HALF PRICE

The red tide has come and gone...not as bad as years past.

We have been catching big reds in the pass like this one being held by David Callaway of Georgia.

The fall flounder run is heating up and we expect to put a lot in the box over the next two months. Big spanish migrate back into the bay this time of year and can be caught on anything you throw at them.

Case Rhodes caught his first trout recently while fishing West Bay. There are a lot of trout and reds to catch this time of year. The reds like to bunch up in big groups.

Fall is the best time to fish our area, no crowds and lot's of fish. Whether you fly fish or spin fish this is the time to be here.

See you on the water.

Capt. James Pic

More Fishing Reports:

Sight casting fly and spinning for reds, trout, bonita, spanish, jacks and many other species. Live bait trips available as well as hot topwater action in the bay around Panama City, Florida. Depending on the time of the year I can normally put you on legal grouper in the bay, monster speckled trout, lot's of fly fishing action and just about everything else that swims and good tablefare.
