Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

Panama City/NW Florida....WINTER SPECIAL; BOOK A HALF DAY AT FULL PRICE AND GET THE NEXT DAY AT HALF PRICE. GOOD THRU 03-15-08
Fishing around the bay has been really good with the warmer temps this fall. The steam plant has a lot of big trout in it along with a lot of other species. The large schools of smaller trout have not shown up. Still catching a lot of reds.
This time of the year we catch a lot of legal grouper in the bay. Had several last week
Here are some pics of yesterdays steam plant canal trip.
We left hot water canal and went to the big bay where we caught blues and spanish until our arms were tired. This next photo is of a juvy king (top) with a keeper spanish. You can tell the difference by the lateral line, shape, color and dorsal fin.
With the weather staying so warm I expect the fishing to stay the same....GOOD!
DUCK HUNTING
Great year so far. Lot's of ducks to shoot. We have been taking scaup, redheads and buffles on the bay along with assorted other ducks such as goldeneyes. There are always ringnecks and woodies to shoot on the lake. Wimico looks like it will have a good year of ducks this year. Remember...I can take trips to Wimico and if you have a large group that wants to hunt the bay, I can take up to six people.
Here are a couple of photo's from today:
Hope everyone has a great holiday. I fish and take guided hunts throughout the winter.....I'm a full time guide, been that way for 13 years.
See you on the water.
