Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

Spring.....some days the wind howls, some days it's as slick as glass. We had both kinds of days this week. Eerly in the week I had one of the toughest days of fishing in years. Couldn't get anything to eat. We had a big school or reds swim by but wouldn't touch a tasty finger mullet. Not to be outdone...my clients today had several more chances at reds, not wanting to eat live shrimp. We are managing a few trout here and there with a black snapper and flounder tossed in.
Fortunately we had some good luck in the pass this morning with the sheeps. The bite is starting, not hot but heating up. We saw a few spanish follow our rigs back to the boat and one guide I know caught a couple on christmas tree's. Mid week next week ought to do it.

Panama City Fishing Forecast:

Last few days have been tough with exception of sheepshead.
Everything should bust out in the next ten days.
Target Species:

Spanish on the way, sheeps here, cobia filtering in.
