2 Slams and a redfish extravaganza!

Capt. James Pic
October 13, 2009
Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

To say it was good today is an understatement. When the day was over each of the three landed a 20lb. plus red plus several others in the slot, some trout with two picking up flounder for the slam. Heath, Rick and Nolan had one of those days to remember with a lot of big pulls and fun. The pictures don't even start to tell the story of the fish they caught today.

Panama City Fishing Forecast:

Fishing will remain good. When the cold front passes this weekend things should really heat up. I don't see any changes in the near future for the reds, trout and spanish.
Flounder should be on a roll in a week to ten days.

Target Species:

Fishing is good and should ramain that way for all species through November.

More Fishing Reports:

Sight casting fly and spinning for reds, trout, bonita, spanish, jacks and many other species. Live bait trips available as well as hot topwater action in the bay around Panama City, Florida. Depending on the time of the year I can normally put you on legal grouper in the bay, monster speckled trout, lot's of fly fishing action and just about everything else that swims and good tablefare.
