Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

My morning trip with Chris Offers group was a great success. Chris is a huge fisherman. His wife and in laws have never fished a day in there life. We had the Snappers and AJ's chumed up to the surface for all of to see. Everyone got to pull on some really nice fish. That same 40lb. cobia came up to the surface but the AJ's kept beating him to the baits. We hit the beach for the last hour of the trip. Oh yeah, we bounced a huge Tarpon. In 170lb. class. Two big jumps and the hook came flying back past the tower. I heard it humming past my ear!

I didn't have an afternoon trip so i went looking for some cobia alone. I saw a lot of small fish on rays and had a good time with them.

Finally I ran over the motherload... 70's to 50's! 15 fish on one ray. I had the big one on till she shook off the jig at the surface. Soon as the jig came off the 50lb. fish in the picture gobble it... Jack, Jack, JACK!!!! If I had clients on the boat I coulda been a superhero!
