Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report
Smoke em' if you got em' and I'm not talking about cigars, I'm talking about your reels because the smoker kings are here!!! With the passing of the full moon and with it slow fishing, but now that the moon is getting dark again the smokers have arrived in a big way!!! With several large smoker kings being picked up every trip! Here are a few nice ones picked up by the "Out West Girls". javascript:insert_image('

The Mahi-mahi and weed line have moved on. The Amber Jack have arrived on their summer grounds. The mangrove snapper are starting to bite regularly, with some nice ones being brought to the dinner table. Here is a nice family photo of a 4 hour trip with 3 Red Snapper, 3 Mangrove Snapper, and a nice King, also landing many under-sized Amber Jacks. Not bad for 4 hours.javascript:insert_image('

A slow start to the week with a full moon turned into a great ending with many big Kings being caught. Thanks to all of you for barring with me through my move, I am now located in Panama City next to the water. This will aid in my ability to catch bait and spend more time on the water. I hope to make my reports more informative, expanding to the beach report, peers, jetties, and other areas accessible to those without boats. Some of my reports will not be just from me but other people fishing in the area as well. Once again thanks for barring with me through my move. I will try to keep up on my reports.
