Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

Tom Henson and his son, Rhett, fished with me this morning. The day broke with a beautiful sunrise, low humidity bringing hopes of a couple of big trout to start the day. We hit several spots in West Bay with only small trout and flounder to show for the effort.
We continued back into the other part of the bay to find a good pull. Ended up on a relatively unknown ledge with a trash pile. Caught some spanish, blues, skips and to our suprise a couple small cobes. This would be number two and three caught in the last few days with number one being caught in a totally different area. All three fish were photographed and put back unharmed.

We ended up on the spanish hole having a lot of great action, catching fish non stop for two hours. Rhett had the time of his life and dad loved watching him catch some fish. There was a lot of trash talk going on which made the day go by even better. Good job guys!

Panama City Fishing Forecast:

Cobia run late? Just kidding but with three 20 inch fish in the last couple of days one would have to think momma is around somewhere.
Trout and reds are bothed scattered with the passing of the full moon. Best way to catch a big trout for the next month or so is cover a lot of ground and fish hard.
Spanish all over the bay with blues and sharks mixed in.
Kings off the beach.
