Specs on the move in Panama City Florida

Capt. James Pic
May 9, 2010
Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

The trout bite is picking up with each passing day. We managed some good fish a couple of days back with DOA and popping cork.
The water in West/North Bay is tanic and coffee colored. The water in East Bay is clear. The fish in east bay seem to be closer to the mouths of the bayous.
Small bait everywhere in all the bays.

Panama City Fishing Forecast:

Trout and redfish will continually get better and stay that way throughout the summer.
We are just a week or two away from being able to run chum lines for big spanish and whatever else.

Target Species:

Trout and reds on the flats, spanish on the ledges.

More Fishing Reports:

Sight casting fly and spinning for reds, trout, bonita, spanish, jacks and many other species. Live bait trips available as well as hot topwater action in the bay around Panama City, Florida. Depending on the time of the year I can normally put you on legal grouper in the bay, monster speckled trout, lot's of fly fishing action and just about everything else that swims and good tablefare.
