Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

We had another great day of fishing yesterday. I had another double header with Capt. Justin Leake. We had two different groups of fathers and sons on Spring break from Texas. The morning trip started with a short ride out in the Gulf. Both boats were hooked up as soon the first baits hit the bottom. We caught fish for the next four hours. Both groups caught Red Snapper, Sheepshead, Triggerfish, White Snapper, Scamp, Gag Grouper, and Vermillion Snapper.

The afternoon trip went pretty much the same. A short ride out in the Gulf, set anchor, and catch fish for four straight hours. It really has been that simple the last week. I think the only difference in the afternoon trip was we also caught a few nice Amberjacks.

If you are planning a trip to the Emerald Coast come check us out at Sun Harbor Marina. We have 6 Light Tackle Guides at the marina. Between us we can accommodate groups of up to 24 people. From fishing the flats to reef fishing we can do it all. As you can see from the pictures and report we should have another great Snapper season this year.
The fishing is great right now….so load the kids up and come on down for some warm weather and fishing.
