Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

The last few weeks we have had some cold days. Just as always, when it's cold the fish bite really well. Take a look at these reds we picked up with live pinfish in the pass.

We have been getting big numbers of trout in the bayous and creeks fishing with DOA's and Gulp. There are still a lot of fish around the bridge and in some of the deep holes in the bay.
Cobia and spanish are the next fish to show up and that's not to far off. Don't forget I have a new look to my boat this year and will run cobia trips. I'll take cobia fishing for a full day at a good price. It's not really that hard to catch them just have to put yourself in the right position to catch them.

Duck Season
Duck season closed last Sunday. All in all it was a good year with many ducks in the area. The first 40 days of season we took a lot of limits of ducks and had lot's of shots. The last two weeks or so it seemed like the birds were moving in and out of the area with the fronts and they were smart which made for a few tough days. Late season hunts are always tough.
Anyone wanting to go on a great five day goose hunt next fall should give me a call or send and email for details. Looking for a couple of hunters.
