Stormy weather reds.

Capt. James Pic

Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

Launched the boat to a sky full of lightning and ominous cloud cover. As we eased over to the bait hole the wind came up turning the bay into a washing machine. After a few throws of the net we had enough nice sized ly's to fish.

The weather was a little nappy so we went up to West Bay to an out of the way redfish spot, letting Jeff and Mitch get seven. Mitch picked up a flounder.

After that we fished with popping corks and DOA Shrimp catching some trout. Mitch got the North Florida Slam.

I'll be out of town the end of next week, trout fishing in North Georgia. If you want a trip I have several people I can send you to that will take care of you. I have days available in August which is a great month to fish.

Panama City Fishing Forecast:

Fishing is good.

Target Species:

Everything

More Fishing Reports:

Sight casting fly and spinning for reds, trout, bonita, spanish, jacks and many other species. Live bait trips available as well as hot topwater action in the bay around Panama City, Florida. Depending on the time of the year I can normally put you on legal grouper in the bay, monster speckled trout, lot's of fly fishing action and just about everything else that swims and good tablefare.
