Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

The cooler temps and north winds have had another positive effect on the fishing. Today was another hot day only having to hit three spots catching reds, trout, flounder, spanish and blues. We had a twenty pound sand shark to the boat just before he bit thru the leader. Check out the forecast for an in depth analysis.

I have started seeing flocks of teal working thru the area. Early teal and wood duck begins on September 26 for five days. I'm booked the first two days but at the writing of this report I have the last three days open for hunters.
Panama City Fishing Forecast:

This is the time of year you can go out and catch fish every day. If your not catching fish, whether on artificial or bait, your doing something wrong.
Trout and reds are biting good up on the flats. Spanish and blues are hitting on the ledges. We were catching giant bluefish on Zara Spooks last week.
If you can't, or don't want too, fish with bait throw topwater early switching to sinking baits as the sun heats up.
Target Species:

Fishing is great right now everything is biting.
