Variety has been the "spice" of fishing lately!

Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

WOW!!!! What can you say about days of reds, specks, flounder, black snaps, spanish and some break off sharks? Want to catch reds? We just park the battle ship on top of them with a bucket of ly's and catch them till your tired. Trout are super good this year. We miss a lot...that's just part of fishing but there are a lot of keeper trout to be caught this year.
Moving around from spot to spot we are picking up some nice flounder, black snappers, pompano and spanish. It has been normal to catch all of the species in one trip. A couple of North Florida slam's, red, speck and flounder, have been boated the last couple of weeks. Theres just so many fish this year it's been like fishing a pay pond. Check out the pictures from the last week:

Nothing will change for several months except some of the unskilled guys won't be able to put fish in the boat cause of the hot weather. Trust me, 35 plus years of fishing around here has it's advantages.

Panama City Fishing Forecast:

Don't see any changes except getting better. Trout, reds, flounder, spanish and others will be caught throughout the summer. Some days will be better than others but I will put you on fish every day.
June is good for kings and bonita on the fly. Nothing like chasing 15 pound bonita with an 8 or 10wt.
The palegics are showing up in big numbers which can make for a lot of fly and topwater action.

Target Species:

anything that swums.

More Fishing Reports:

Sight casting fly and spinning for reds, trout, bonita, spanish, jacks and many other species. Live bait trips available as well as hot topwater action in the bay around Panama City, Florida. Depending on the time of the year I can normally put you on legal grouper in the bay, monster speckled trout, lot's of fly fishing action and just about everything else that swims and good tablefare.
