Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

As many of you know....I get chastised a lot for what I post on my reports. After a week like this it's hard to be humble. The thing, though, I don't catch the fish. I put quality equipment in both good and bad fisherpeoples hands, give them the best opportunity that you will find anywhere in the area to catch fish and help them catch good fish.
Fritz and long time friend, Gladys, hit the water with me this morning. Fritz wanted reds and trout...that simple, that's all. Gladys wanted a boat ride. After getting blanked in my "trout hole of the week" we hit some old favs, catching some good fish, catching a lot of fish. We had a huge sea turtle come up to the boat and take a look at us which was one of the highlights of the day. What was great about this morning was it only took me five minutes to get Gladys off the seat with a rod in her hand. Good thing cause she landed a good 24 inch trout. She did very well putting four keepers in the boat.

Later we hit a redfish spot that hasn't produced for a few years but I keep going back hoping the fish would return. Sho' 'nuff, they were there with us landing eight in about thirty minutes. Not wanting to burn that spot we quickly got on and off of it. Yummy, redfish mirinated in Mohito Lime marinade cooked on the grill tonight!

Folks....there are a few things you need to know. First, there is no oil in Panama City and none expected to come here. Second, (with no intention of disrespecting any of the other guides in the area) there is no one, let me say it again, NO ONE, guiding this bay that knows it better than I. You have a better chance catching good fish with me and more fish with me than anywhere else. So why go with anyone else? I post the reports with the photos....walk the walk and talk the talk. Come fish with me and you will find out why I have so many return clients...experience what good fishing in Panama City Florida is all about.
