Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

Headed up to West Bay with Bob and Steve this morning. They wanted to catch some trout. We started out at a good trout/redfish spot putting a big red along with a couple of small trout in the boat. We missed a couple of good trout for various reasons.
We continued on to other spots, blanking on one and putting a fat 20" trout and a small red in the boat. Red had a lot of spots. We missed a couple of more good fish. That's how it is some days. I went to take a few more photo's and found my memory card to be full. Sorry.

We spent the last few hours on the Middle Grounds catching big spanish and blues. Steve ended up with a "quadfecta"; spanish, blue, red and trout. Bob stuck a spinner shark for one jump that went well over 100lbs.
All in all is was a decent day. Not as good as yesterday but a good day with lot's of action just the same.
Have some days available for August, give me a call the fishing is good.
Panama City Fishing Forecast:

August is a great month to fish. It can be hot but most forget the heat when they hook that big trout or red we get that month.
There will be some grouper to catch in the bay along with other species that ease into the bay for the late summer.
Spanish will remain thick on the ledges.
Kings are good offshore and in the bay.
Target Species:

All the players are here. All species are available.
