Youth Duck Hunt in Panama City, Florida

Capt. Todd Jones
February 2, 2015
Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

This was our last hunt of the year…and my favorite one. The weather could not have been better; SE winds 15 to 20, overcast, and rainy. The birds have not been shot at for a week and you could really tell by the way they piled into the decoys. I would say that in the 3 hours we hunted several hundred Redheads landed in our decoys. My only regret was it was raining a little too hard to get quality pictures. But the most important thing is the memories my 12 year old son Jacob and his buddy Austin will have forever.

Only 2 more youth hunts left then all my children will be too old for it.

I unloaded the DUCKWATER and put all my decoys away until next season (except for painting and re-rigging).

It's back to fishing.

More Fishing Reports:

Capt. Todd has been fishing the Gulf Coast for over 40 years and guiding for 30 years. He is a second generation fishing guide. While serving his country for 22 years as a Navy Diver he was able to fish all over the world. In his travels he has fished the Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian Oceans, as well as the Mediterranean and the Sea of Cortez. But in his opinion nothing compares to the diversity we have here in the Emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico.
