Pensacola - Saltwater Fishing Report

Back Country Fishing and Bull fighting to boot – Mega-Bite Inshore Charters
Day one was cloudy / overcast with a little more wind and a bit warmer.
We fished Escambia Bay and found fish in depths of 4-7ft of water.
The bite was really good, with lots of specks in the 14"-16" range. I was pitching suspending twitch baits and soft plastics and the fish couldn't get enough. We must have caught 35-40 fish. Didn't catch any reds that day, but we sure had fun trying.

Day two we fished Blackwater Bay, much different conditions, high pressure, cooler temps and blue bird skies. I found some quality specks in depths again in the same range of 4-7 ft. We covered a lot of water today checking some areas I have fished before with success and scouted some new areas. Even though we had high pressure and clear skies, the bite was pretty good. We kept just enough for a nice dinner.

Day three: monster reds in Pensacola Bay.
The pics speak for themselves.

When I'm not booked I go scouting to make sure I know what's going on in all the areas. I do this so when you call to book a trip I know where to take you to have the best trip possible.
Thanks for stopping by, also if you are looking to learn about saltwater fishing, have moved or are visiting the area with your own boat. Check out my new style of charter I started last year called Saltwater Fishing Academy. www.saltwateracademy.com
