Pensacola Fishing Charters and Instruction at Redfish University-Feb. 2, 2013--For our 23th trip of the year, we guided new residents CJ and his son, Nate. The guys were interested in speckled trout and then some shallow water bull redfish. Apparently, our local anglers have been following Redfish University's recent reports at www.redfishuniversity.com and the Redfish University Facebook page. Started to the north with more speckled trout than we could count and then travelled south to find some large redfish on the flats. Found some clear and chalky water but the big fish were in both so we hammered away. Berkley Gulp! 4″ Shrimp and accurate casts are the keys to success. All fish released this morning.
