Pensacola Fishing Charters at Redfish University-Apr. 16,17 2013-- Some excellent Redfish University instructional guide trips the last few days. Tuesday morning, we targeted redfish and speckled trout way over in East Bay and produced several large speckled trout over 20" in the first handful of casts. The Sebile StickShadds were the bait of choice in the early morning hours although some fish were taken on Bongas as well. Steady on the trout with over 25 nice fish taken but the redfish were extremely difficult during our sight fishing session but viewed several great fish in shallow water.
Today's Redfish U. instructional was a bit unconventional as we focused on surf fishing for pompano. Found it a bit slow but picked up a few quality pompano and most importantly, much was learned. We'll hit the redfish and speckled trout tomorrow through Friday and get back to our bread and butter. Apologies for the lack of photos as the home PC is being serviced at the moment.
