Pensacola - Saltwater Fishing Report
There are some incredible recent fishing reports from Redfish University here that Redfish University doesn't really remember writing. Weird... Although the weather continues to be unpredictable here in Pensacola, some things continue to be shamefully predictable in Pensacola. The fishing continues to be outstanding in the upper reaches of the Pensacola Bay system. Experience, techniques and covering productive water insures that every Redfish University trip is at peak performance. The speckled trout and redfish are smashing Sebiles from first light to about 7am and then a wide variety of Berkley Gulp! products will be fired on light 6# Spiderwire Ultracast InvisiBraid. Solid limits of speckled trout with total numbers of 40+ are never a problem and the redfish can be a bit more difficult although numbers in the 5-15 range is expected. Most Redfish U. anglers will only take that night's dinner. Redfish University is booked solidly until July 30 before its departure for the 2012 Olympics in London from July 31-Aug 9. All Redfish University trips will be transferred to experienced and trusted local guides, my friends Capt. Brant Peacher, Capt. Justin Hinote and Capt. Eddie Woodall here on Cyberangler. In any location, it is of the utmost importance to determine your fishing guides experience and credibility. Sadly, and most tragically, many are simply unqualified, painfully inexperienced and unable to do the job which hampers and disappoints us all. One taste is all it takes before lesson learned. Read your fishing guide's biography and testimonials. Please. Thanks, E Holstman
