Spring Break not far off - Mega-Bite Inshore Charters

Capt. John Rivers
January 27, 2013
Pensacola - Saltwater Fishing Report

Hello fellow anglers! 2012 has come and gone, and I'm looking forward to what's new on the horizon for the year ahead. It's going to be a great year; I can feel it!

It seems like spring is pretty far off, but really it's just around the corner. That's the nice thing about living in Florida; winter doesn't hang around long.
See this link to check out what we catch in March during Spring Break.

On Jan 26, I woke up to temps in the upper 60's to nearly 70 degrees. Was this a trick from Mother Nature? Who cares? And to top it off, the rest of this week the weather is going to be perfect with temps in the 70's.
Looks like it's time to wipe the dust off of your tackle and hit the water, if you haven't already been out.
Typically, it's a little cooler this time of year, but maybe Mother Nature forgot to buy a new calendar for 2013, and that's fine by me.

If you missed my last report, I've been fishing in Blackwater and Escambia for trout and reds. We caught some reds but more trout. I've found the bite to be really good in the afternoon from 11-5 p.m.. Back at it again all this week both fun fishing and charters.

Thanks for stopping by, also if you are looking to learn about saltwater fishing, have moved or are visiting the area with your own boat. Check out my new style of charter I started last year called Saltwater Fishing Academy. www.saltwateracademy.com

Now go get your bags packed for spring break in Pensacola.
Tight Lines.
John
