Snooking - Wind pushing 20knots and rain wet to the skin
But Snook were everywhere...where do I begin
Mangroves were also giving up cuda and snappers
But then we finally landed more of a whopper

Snookin - Took a two hour trip with a client today
He had an appointment early..what can I say
We landed 14 Snook as the action was sick
No wind ripples..the water was slick
Explosions and screaming reels were the norm
I'm looking forward to tom more...

Snooking - Yesterday 16 Snook were boated
Even with all the grass that floated
Today was almost the same thing
18 Snook made our reels sing
We were casting right where we belong
Even a slot sized redfish came along

Snooking - After seeing dead fish floating near Sanibel
Only going fishing myself would I be able to tell
Pine Island seems to have been spared
As a guide I really cared
18 Snook were landed today and a red
So I guess we can put the red tide rumo more...

Snookin - the tide was flowing and that means fun
We would make many a cast before we were done
The first fish was a 24 redfish and strong
But we were waiting for the Snook to come along
And wow! did they do more than crash our lures

Snooking - Friday we brought 12 Snook to the boat
But that was not all she wrote
A couple of redfish and trout joined the fun
Then a couple of tarpon and we were done
Yesterday 13 Snook were landed and full of fight

Snooking - Great to be back chasing exciting Snook
A few trips into the mangroves is all it took
We landed 11 Snook yesterday just a blast
Explosions were anticipated with every cast
Most were smaller but then right on cue

Mackerel on the Sand Bars - Big Mackerel and Ladyfish action on the sandbars just outside Captiva Pass. Tons of fun. Casting 3/4 oz. silver spoons and Kasting slabs from the bar back into the green deeper water is productive. It's not unusual to have three or four on at a time. more...

Snooking - A little traveling necessary today
We found the fish again anyway
Casting at mangroves close was all it took
We landed no monsters but really nice Snook
11 Snook came to the boat during our time
Most were small but a 29 and 30 gave more...
