New Boat, New Honda 225, and Hot Fishing

Pine Island Sound - Saltwater Fishing Report

If you happened to catch the 0930 ESPN2 Mad Fin Quiznos Tournament hosted by Mehgan Heaney-Grier (She is the world free diving champion and a World Class Babe as it a Solid 9.5. You must watch her hand on to the dorsal fin of a 14FT Hammerhead and swim away. Dudes, make your wives and girlfriends check her out next Sunday. What a great way to make any woman feel TOTALLY INFERIOR!!!) my new boat is featured in the new Andros commercial. The Black 23 Cuda cannot compete with Mehgan but she is soooooo goreous. Black with a big Silver Honda. One Bad Mo-Fo Dudes!

Trout: How do you talk about Trout with Mehgan Heaney-Grier on your brain? Tough call but we have some MAJOR GATOR TROUT roaming the oyster bars. 4-5LB here in Pine Island Sound is pretty big BUT you should have seen the one I handed off to a customer. As you know, my Fishing Reports do not make claims of being under sniper fire or any other Bull Sh*t. In other words, take it to the bank if I write it. (If there is red tide, I tell you. If the fishing sucks, I tell you. I don't let the BS flow to score charters. What you read is fact, Jack) With this said, I landed a 9LB Trout in SC on Kiawah Island, SC. This Big Mama was bigger. It all went down as follows. Yours truly is giving a DEMO on fishing a DOA shrimp (color was pearl with fire tail). I'm teaching the art of skipping the shrimp across the water and then jigging it back to the top for more ruckus on the surface (my fave move). Once the DOA clears the pothole I figure the presentation is over and start to reel in faster. WHAM! This Big Bitch rolled up on that shrimp like a shark. It was amazing. I immediately handed the rod to my charter customer. She screamed but she was good looking. Her Ball&Chain starts yelling "Reel Baby Reel!" I'm imploring calm and cool and not reeling against the drag. Guess who she listens to? As that fish swam away, I had witnessed the biggest trout I've ever seen. We caught several more in the 4-5LB class but nothing like Big Mama. She was F-Huge!

Snook: Some people always catch snook (such total BS). I say this for the following reason. 2 Tournaments. 1st: 100 Boat Pro Flat Masters Tournament. 2 day event. 3 Keeper Snook. Tournament 2: Bobby Holaway: 80 Boats. 2 Days and again 3 Keeper Snook in 2 f-days! 30" won both Tournaments but snook are on fire for some people. (PLS read between the lines). My 2 charters last week produced 1 keeper snook for Gerry Butters of St James City. He had 2 buddies fishing with him and we scored 1 keeper Triple Tail. That's it sports fans. 2 freaking fish in 6 hours. We were fishing one of our infamous 1 tide days.

Snook should be on the beach as I type. Will let you know.

Tarpon are here. I have a Tarpon trip early tomorrow. Will feed you the NO BS Results. "GiddyUp"
