Pine Island Sound - Saltwater Fishing Report

Today started out with beautiful weather. Dan, Katie and Jack met me at the dock at 1:00 P.M. We headed out for some fast action spanish mackeral and trout. After a short time and a pretty good bite we took off to get some snook. Fist up was Jack with his 26 inch snook. Let me just say that fish didnt have a chance. He was a little man on a mission man handling that snook. Next up was Katie with her first ever redfish that put up a good fight. Then Dad "Dan" was up for his snook. The tide was up and we headed for a near-by shoreline for some more action. Dan hooked into a jack that just about took all his line when it decided enough was enough and made its turn back towards the boat. Nice Jack Dan... The trip was coming to an end when we headed back towards matlach for a last spot try. Katie boated a 24 inch red followed by Jack getting another nice snook. Dan finished the day with a 25 inch trout. Thanks again gang, I enjoyed fishing with You.
