Pine Island Sound - Saltwater Fishing Report

March 11th 2014 proved to be a good day on the water for the Hoffmans Angling Adventure.

We started out on the open water grass in 7 foot depth for some trout. It wasn't long and the boys Bryce and Mason were showing off dad Dan and grandpa Dave. With the livewell looking good we headed off for some big snook. The first spot payed off with Bryce boating his 31" snook.

As the tide worked in we headed up to a shoreline that has been holding some redfish. Mason was first up to bat with the only red of the day before the bite shut off.

Great to see You guys and looking forward to next year. ( and no i'm not Brett Farve ) :-)
Pine Island Sound Fishing Forecast:

March is a great month for us in SW Florida. Once the cold fronts quit pushing down and the water warms to above 70 degrees fishing will be great. Keep in mind that the fish are starting their migration to spring spawns so be ready, you never know what is going to cross paths with you.
Target Species:

Snook, Trout, Reds.
