Pine Island Sound - Saltwater Fishing Report

Fishing report for the week up to 10/28/09
After a strong front last week water temps are rebounding and still winds have the bait returning to the bay. On tuesday the one windy day this week the bait was sreaming through the passes causing the mackeral to go crazy, find the birds and you will find the fish. Live shinners, spoons or softbaits all work well. Snook and redfish have been good on the high tides around oysterbars, on the low tides look for these fish to fall into the nearest pothole to there highwater spots. Trout have been the most consistant in sand and grass areas 3-5 ft of water, I am starting to see some fish in the 20 inch range. Tight Lines
