Fort pierce fishing

Port St. Lucie - Saltwater Fishing Report

Well after a week of being land locked due high winds and seas we finally got a trip off, and that trip was almost canceled. We went to the 6 mile reef seas were mostly 3 foot but really close together I was able to make 12 knots. The fishing was slow at first the water was fairly dirty with only 10 feet or so of clarity. Sea temperature was 77 degrees. The charter hooked up on a few very large fish probably nurse sharks based on the fight bot weren't able to get them up. At the second spot I was able to get some sardines we used for live bait. We got bit off a couple of times so I switched to steel leader hooks. I moved several times with minimal success , I decided to go back to the spot with the sardines and we started getting hits and fish at the end we had a pretty nice catch of snapper and a nice Amoco jack. www.pslfishing.com 772 340 7440
