Fishing Sanibel Captiva

Capt. Dave Andrews
March 6, 2013
Sanibel - Saltwater Fishing Report

Another cold front is here today, and another report on the fishing near Sanibel and Captiva. The weather has me moving with the fish. The Pompano, Spanish Mackrel, Sheaphead, and redfish are biting, just not all on the same day!. On the coldest of day i have targeted the sheaphead around docks. It's a tricky bite but you can stay out of the wind and have fun.

The pompano and Spanish Mackrel are biting a day or two after the fronts, redfish seem best on the warmer days just before the next front.
If you are planning a trip the last 3 weeks of March I still have openings, the weather should improve every week now, so call and book your trip.
Captain Dave
