Sanibel Fishing charter

Sanibel - Saltwater Fishing Report

Sanibel Fishing

This weeks Sanibel fishing Charters were warm and fishy. This week the bait moved in as the water warmed up. It has been like throwing on the switch. Spanish Mackerel have been cutting my leaders, while we are Trout fishing. Redfish are getting better, I've seen one big school already. Snook have started to bite and we even saw a group of really nice sharks. On the 19th we hooked a 6 ft spinner Shark that put on a spectacular fight jumping and spinning. The Goulds from Pennsylvania caught Snook, Trout Redfish and sharks over 2 days . I expect to see the Tarpon starting to show up in the next 2 weeks, so I'm carrying a tarpon rig just in case. Don't wait to go, the fishing won't get any better.
